For this challenging project, we were involved from start to finish in the complete conversion of the HEBO-CB1. The original pipe-laying vessel was fully transformed into a multifunctional Construction Barge. Our work began with stripping the deck completely, removing all existing structures by means of gouging and grinding. Following this, we fabricated, installed, and preserved various elements of the deck outfitting. In our workshop, we prefabricated several components — including parts of the steel structure, deck houses, and deck hatches — which were later installed on board. We also carried out a wide range of activities below deck, including conversion, renovation, and painting works. Thanks to this combined approach, from steelwork to finishing, we made a significant contribution to the successful transformation of the HEBO-CB1 into a modern, operational work vessel.
